To be a home for children where they experience love-filed care while being encouraged to express themselves creatively so that they can become happy individuals for the rest of their lives. We develop a high level of intellectual, personal and social skills while giving children the right education to be successful in life

Our students are exposed to both English and Spanish languages during the school day, rendering them academically balanced bilinguals. This results in successful operation in two languages and, usually, in later success when assessed as a curriculum area.

Our school is focused on of the most crucial time periods in a child’s development and learning – from birth to 5 years old. We focus on the development of important milestones during this stage: social and emotional, speech and language, cognitive, and physical. We also understand that growth and development can vary from child to child, so we allow each child to experience their own changing and emerging growth and development.

Our days consist of one or more of the following: Use and develop language skills, use of large and small muscles, use of materials that encourage creativity and imaginary play, daily indoor and outdoor activities pending the weather, active and quiet play, individual and group activities. This will all help in learning new ideas and skills, be exposed to a variety of cultures, and protect them from excess fatigue and over stimulation.

MiniArt Childcare Center is led by a dedicated mother and daughter team with a wealth of experience and a deep passion for early childhood development.

Ms. Claudia – Owner and Director

Ms. Claudia Arango is the visionary behind MiniArt. She began her journey in early childhood education over 37 years ago in Colombia, where she first opened a childcare center. After relocating to the United States, she gained valuable experience working in various centers across the Tampa Bay area. In 2015, she established MiniArt Childcare Center to create a nurturing and creative environment for children. Ms. Claudia is particularly passionate about circle time and Spanish classes, reflecting her commitment to bilingual education and cultural enrichment.

Ms. Calita – Owner and Assistant Director

Ms. Claudia “Calita” Trejos serves as the Assistant Director and co-owner of MiniArt. She plays a crucial role in the daily operations of the center, ensuring that the environment remains loving, patient, and attentive to each child’s needs. Her dedication to fostering a supportive atmosphere contributes significantly to the center’s reputation for excellence in childcare.

Together, Ms. Claudia and Ms. Calita have created an extended family for the MiniArt kiddos, one that emphasizes creativity, emotional growth, and cultural awareness. Their combined expertise and heartfelt commitment make MiniArt a cherished part of the Wesley Chapel community.
